Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Center Stage Spotlight, in plain language. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accounts

  • You must be 13 or older to have an account. There are no accounts for children under 13, no exceptions.
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent before you can post or chat. Until that consent is on file, your account can browse, listen, and follow, but posting and chatting stay locked.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If someone else is using it, tell us via Support right away.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — your songs, posts, photos, and videos. By posting, you give Center Stage Spotlight permission to display and deliver that content on the site, and for other members to view and listen to it. That permission is what makes the site work: without it, we could not show your page or play your songs.

Only post work you have the right to share: work you made, or work you have permission to share. Do not post other people’s work as your own. If someone believes your post infringes their copyright, see our DMCA page.

What is not allowed

  • No nudity or sexual content, ever. This is a music community, and that content does not belong here.
  • No sexual content involving minors, ever. Zero tolerance: it is removed immediately, the account is banned, and it is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, as the law requires.
  • No harassment, hate, threats, or bullying.
  • No impersonating another person or artist.
  • No spam, scams, or misleading other members.
  • No illegal activity, and no trying to break, overload, or work around the site’s protections.
  • Follow the Community Guidelines — they are part of these terms.

Headliner

Headliner is the paid tier ($10 a month or $100 a year), billed through Stripe. Sellers keep 100% of their sales. To cancel Headliner or sort out a billing problem, contact us via Support and we will help.

Removal and termination

We may remove content or suspend or ban an account that breaks these rules. For serious violations — including anything involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, harassment, or illegal activity — we act immediately and without warning. You can ask us to close your account at any time via Support.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. We are not responsible for what members post, and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
