Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026. Contact: katrodgers81@gmail.com.

Center Stage Spotlight is a showcase site for artists: profiles, songs, rooms, messages, and shops, all in one place. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what control you have over it, in plain language.

What we collect

Only what you give us, and what the site needs to work:

  • Account information: your email address, your handle, your display name, and anything you add to your profile, such as your city, genre tags, and links.
  • Content you post: your tracks (uploads or links), posts, comments, messages, and pinned songs. Other members can see what you choose to make public on your page, in rooms, and in the feed.
  • Age and consent information: your date of birth, so we can enforce the 13-and-up rule, and — for members under 18 — a record of a parent or guardian’s consent, since consent is required before a minor can post or chat.
  • Headliner subscriptions: whether your Headliner subscription is active, so the site can unlock store features. Card details are handled by Stripe, our payment provider — we never see or store your card number.
  • Sign-in sessions: a session cookie or local storage entry that keeps you signed in. That is the only tracking the site uses.

How we use it

To run the site: show your artist page, deliver your messages, count likes, follows, and subscriptions on your page, and manage Headliner access. Nothing else.

Who else touches it

Four service providers, and nobody else: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (site hosting), Stripe (Headliner payments), and Resend (email delivery). We do not sell your information, and there are no ads on the site.

Your control

You can edit or delete your own profile content and posts from your dashboard and pages. For questions about your account data, email katrodgers81@gmail.com and we will help. Parents or guardians of members under 18 can ask about their child’s account data, or ask us to close it, the same way.

Children

You must be 13 or older to have an account — there are no accounts for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Members under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent before they can post or chat; we collect date of birth to enforce the age rule and keep a record of that consent.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
