Community Guidelines

Effective October 25, 2026. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.

Center Stage Spotlight is a music community. The rules below keep it a place where artists — including young artists — can share their work safely.

Be kind, be about the music

No hate, harassment, bullying, or threats. Critique the song, not the person. If you would not say it to someone’s face at an open mic, do not post it here.

Keep it clean

No nudity or sexual content, ever — in posts, photos, videos, messages, or rooms. This rule has no exceptions.

Protect minors

• The site is 13 and up. Members under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent before they can post or chat.
• If you are an adult, do not privately message minors you do not know.
• If you see anything that worries you — especially anything involving a child — report it right away (see below). Anything involving the sexual exploitation of a minor is removed immediately, the account is banned, and it is reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.

Your work, honestly

Post your own songs, or work you have permission to share. Do not pass off someone else’s work as your own. Playlists can feature anyone’s songs — the artist’s name stays on the song, and that credit matters.

No spam, scams, or impersonation

Do not spam rooms or feeds, run scams, or pretend to be another person or artist. No bots allowed in chat rooms — rooms are for real people.

Reporting

Use the Report button where you see one, or contact us via the Support page. Tell us what happened and where; we review reports, remove content that breaks these rules, and warn, suspend, or ban accounts as needed.
